Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your The Santa AI account and the personal data associated with it at any time, using either of the methods below.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open The Santa AI on your device.
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top corner to open Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen.
  4. Tap "Delete Account".
  5. Confirm twice. You will be signed out immediately and your account will be removed.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@thesanta.ai with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address you used to sign up. We will verify your identity and process the request within 5 business days.

What gets deleted

  • Your Firebase Authentication account (parent email and sign-in credentials)
  • Your child's profile (first name, age, birthday, interests, wish list, good deeds)
  • All conversation history with Santa (messages, both yours and Santa's replies)
  • Daily usage records
  • Content moderation violation history
  • The link between your account and any active subscription in our database (the subscription itself remains with Apple or Google — see below)

What is kept (and why)

  • Subscription records held by Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play), or RevenueCat — these are controlled by them and not by us. To stop billing, cancel the subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings before deleting your account.
  • Anonymized aggregate analytics that cannot be linked back to your account.
  • Error logs in our crash reporting system (Sentry) — these may include the user ID for up to 90 days, after which they are purged.

Retention timeline

Your account and data are removed from our active systems immediately upon request when you use the in-app option, or within 5 business days for email requests. Encrypted backups are rotated and overwritten within 30 days. Subscription billing records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat are subject to their respective retention policies.
